Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
Academic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership
- School Management
- Curriculum Studies
- Educational Administration
- Or another closely related field
Note: Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree and exceptional experience may be considered for Nursery and Primary campuses.
Required Experience
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Minimum seven years of successful teaching experience
- At least five years in school leadership
- Proven experience managing schools
- Strong understanding of Rwanda’s education system
- ICT proficiency
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
- High integrity and professionalism
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
The successful Head Teacher will:
- Lead implementation of the school’s vision and mission
- Drive strategic planning and school improvement initiatives
- Coordinate Nursery, Primary and Secondary sections where applicable
- Promote institutional excellence
2. Academic Leadership
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising curriculum implementation
- Improving teaching quality
