Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) is now accepting applications for the 2026/27 Commonwealth Distance Learning Master’s Scholarships.

Delivered under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP), this programme reflects the United Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable development across Commonwealth nations 🌍.

These scholarships allow qualified professionals from eligible countries to pursue a UK Master’s degree by distance learning, while remaining in their home country.

⚠ Late applications will not be considered.

📝 Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the CSC online portal, CSC Central. Submissions outside this system are not accepted.

The process includes:

  1. Applying to an eligible Master’s programme at a participating UK university
  2. Submitting the scholarship application through CSC Central
  3. University nomination
  4. Final eligibility verification by the CSC

Important Technical Notes:

  • Applications cannot be edited after submission
  • All required documents must be uploaded correctly
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) is mandatory
  • Use the “save” function regularly
  • Refreshing the browser may result in data loss

Applicants may apply to multiple courses but can accept only one scholarship offer.

The selection follows a structured multi-stage system:

  1. UK universities apply to host CSC-funded programmes
  2. Candidates apply to both the university and CSC
  3. Universities nominate selected candidates (June 2026)
  4. CSC verifies eligibility

Only candidates from these countries are eligible.
