Position Purpose
The Ministries Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring ministry and community development activities implemented under Hope International programs.
The successful candidate will work closely with church leadership, local communities, development partners, and project stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and measurable impact.
This role requires strong leadership, project coordination, communication, and community mobilization skills.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Management
- Coordinate ministry and community development activities across assigned program areas.
- Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of Hope International projects.
- Ensure activities align with organizational objectives and community needs.
- Track project progress and support performance reporting.
Community Development and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with church leaders, community members, and development partners.
- Facilitate community participation in project activities.
- Support outreach, mobilization, and awareness campaigns.
- Strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders and beneficiaries.
Ministry Leadership Support
- Collaborate with church leadership in implementing ministry initiatives.
- Support capacity-building activities for local ministry teams.
- Promote effective communication between project stakeholders and church leadership.
- Assist in organizing ministry events, workshops, and training programs.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Evaluation
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Prepare progress reports and activity updates.
- Monitor program outcomes and recommend improvements.
- Support evaluation and learning activities.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Development Studies
- Project Management
- Social Work
- Community Development
- Sociology
- Public Administration
- International Development
- Or another closely related discipline
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be 40 years old or younger.
- Have at least six (6) months of professional work experience in Rwanda.
- Be a committed Christian with strong moral values and exemplary conduct.
- Demonstrate a passion for community service and social transformation.
- Be willing to work within a faith-based organizational environment.
